Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.
Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

This error involves Recorded Messages and Error 1265: When I select a recorded message to review, Joomla returns this error:

I attempted to replicate the error locally but was unsuccessful.
Regrettably, this time, the Call stack didn't provide much insight as it didn't record any calls from Contact Enhanced. However, a "data truncated for column" warning in MySQL typically arises when the imported value doesn't match the column's data type. Considering that checking out an item on Contact Enhanced is handled by the Joomla framework, encountering this error is quite unusual.
The "checked_out_time" field should be of the datetime type. Could you please verify if the database field type for that column is correctly set to datetime? You can find this in the Table #__ce_messages. Additionally, while you're inspecting the database, please check the default and Null fields. You can refer to the attached screenshot for guidance:
