Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

Dear Alistair,

If I'm not mistaken, the problem of the post above was that the captcha.php was been appended instead of replaced. After installation I had to manually delete the file and upload it using FTP;

I believe it is the same thing because there is no line 204 in that file;

I don't believe it has anything to do with the PHP version, however you should keep your system updates; PHP updates not only provide new features, such as JSON support in PHP 5.2 (required for Ajax Contact), but also improve server performance and increases security levels;

If the problem persists, please provide a FTP account so I can take a look at it;

Kind regards,

Bom Dia Douglas,

Thanks for coming back to us so soon, however I am still a little confused by your answer :unsure:

Looking at the captcha.php file here, line 204 contains the following:

final class CaptchaMoovur extends Moovur {

(I have uploaded a copy of the file so that you can look at it)

Also I am not sure what you mean by the php being appended instead of replaced? Could you perhaps explain further?

For extra information, the fault that occurs (when CAPTCHA is enabled) is that as soon as you request the "contact" page from anywhere on the site, the site crashes with the error as previously mentioned.
The entire site is then inaccessible until CAPTCHA is disabled in the Joomla backend.

Regards

Alistair.
