Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Custom Fields Problem

I've installed the component and all seems to be working correctly, however I have one problem:

I've added a custom field which is showing correctly on my contact page, the problem is it doesn't seem to allow any attributes to be saved/added.

Basically, it's a multitext field which I want to specify how many rows/cols it has but when I add these details into the attributes field, it says it's saved correctly when I update it, however it removes the coding and doesn't save the attributes.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Dear Tatsujin,

That's because the multitext (textarea) field already has these values.
If you want to change you have to write some css. For example: style="width:90%;height:100px";
