Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Changing the Contact Image directory/location

Hi.

I am using CE and wish to specify a different folder for the contact images as there are over 100 contacts and I don't want them in the root directory.

Any ideas as to how I do this?

I can change that for you. Are you running the latest version 1.5.7?
Please visit our Purchase and Download Section and download the file.

How to upgrade?
Just like you would installed it!
Select Extensions -> Install/Uninstall from the drop-down menu in the Back-end of your Joomla! installation. Remember that there is no need to uninstall the old version, therefore all your custom fields will remain intact! :-)

For extra safety:
- Always make a backup before upgrading any extension!
- If you are upgrading from 1.5.6, please make sure that [Joomla]/administrator/components/com_contact_enhanced/configuration.php is writable

I downloaded and installed the latest version today.

Are you able to send me the relevant files or tell me what the mods are and I will do them.

Dear Mark,

I've implemented the changes as fast as I could.
I had to create a new package because there are too many changes, otherwise it would be way too complicated to update and I've already emailed it to you.

All you have to do is change the image path in the configuration page;
