Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Email Confirmation Message

Hello

I have just installed Contact Enhanced and everything is running perfectly. This is an excellent component.

Can you please tell me how I can alter the email confirmation message that is appearing after a user sends a message using the email form.

The message reads,

Thank you for your email

Bellow are the submitted fields

The word bellow is spelled incorrectly ( should be below)

Any ideas on how I can change this would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Novare,

Thanks for letting me know. I've just fixed it, so the next version will be correct.

I'll update the download package on Monday, but in the meanwhile you can follow these instructions:

Edit the "Thank you page" email template.

Hi Douglas

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have edited the email confirmation message template as per your instructional video.

However, somewhere along the line in setting up my email form, I am now getting the Joomla default email confirmation appearing at the top of the webpage, after an email is sent.

I have setup the parameters as follows

Email output type for the copy message - - HTML
Select a template - - Default
Thank you message - - Show sent email message

Any ideas on how to return to the Content Enhanced template message would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Simon,

That's very strange, it is not showing the sent email message.

The Menu Parameters (Component) overrides the Components Parameters, therefore can you please make sure the Menu Parameter "Thank you message" is set to "Show sent email message"?
