Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Hello,
I am using the loadcontact to use the Contact Enhanced component in an article.
Can anyone tell me how to get a custom thank you form to appear after the send button is clicked when I use the component in this manner?

Dear Gordon,

There is no parameter to change that option.

For now you can just change that in the [Joomla]/components/com_contact_enhanced/controller.php
Change this line:
if($this->emailInfo->return_url AND $pparams->get( 'thankyoumsg') != 'redirect' ){
For this line:
if($this->emailInfo->return_url AND $pparams->get( 'thankyoumsg') == 'redirect' ){
I've already tested on my test server and it is working.

Thank you,

That seems to be redirecting it to the same article with the addition of a thank you message at the top.
Can I get it to redirect to a new article/page?

Dear Gordon,

Are you using the latest version 1.5.7.3?

If you want to redirect to another page you have to set it in the Contact Enhanced -> Configration: Click on the Parameters button and set Thank you message to "Custom Redirect" and then set "Custom redirect" to an URL starting with http:// or a non sef link starting with index.php

I have the latest version.

Tried the custom setting with the URL, still no luck.

Is there another setting I am missing?

Found it.

I needed to set the plug-in to "Global" for after form is submitted.
