Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Image path problem

I’m using Contact Enhanced - Version: 1.5.7 and in the configuration panel on the main tab where you can set the image path there is an extra \ symbol after the default path.

It’s causing the image URL to be wrong.

www.mysite.com/images/stories/\image.jpg


Tried to delete this extra backslash but it keep coming back when I hit save or apply.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you for a quick response.

I downloaded the file at the link your provided. I installed the new version of the component but now my API key has disappeared.

The tab on the configuration window no longer appears.

I checked the parameters section but found no place to input the API key.

Is there an extra plugin to download to get Google Maps working again?

Dear Red,

The latest version of Contact Enhanced uses Google Maps API version 3, which no longer requires an API key and your map should still work.

In the Component Parameters you will see many new option for GMaps, because now it works with directions;

GMaps API v3 was designed with mobile application in mind therefore it is faster than the old deprecated version.
