Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Custom fields aren't diplaying

Am trying to add three different forms for a client. Each form has some fields in common and some not

EG:

name, phone, email are on all and thus set to "all categories"

I want to do a hidden subject (to make it unique for each form) and add a text box to another form

I created categories for each

"For sellers"
"for buyers"
"relocation"

and have created custom fields and assigned them to that category.

I created three contacts (one for each of these) and assigned them to the corresponding category.

But, only the "all category" fields display.

EG, this page should have a text field also

Please point me in the right direction.

Dear envisiondesign,

By your description you've done everything correctly. Are all fields enabled?

The only contact that have a text field is:
www.capstonesolutions.org/comp.../2-sellersguide/1-sellersguide

It might be useful to add filter the custom fields by a category, so it is easier to know which fields are in each category.
