Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Email Subject

I have added a custom set of subjects on my form and the chosen subject is showing in the email reply but the email's subject is also including the sites Global Site Meta Description along with the custom subject. Also I thought that the Site Name should be the default value in the subject field and not the Global Site Meta Description.

For example; under the Available syntax's on the template section the sites name is not showing instead the sites Global Site Meta Description is showing in its place.

Dear Gary,

That is odd!

It should use your site's name in the subject, but you can easily change that.

It seems that the problem had something to do with cashed files. Once I rebooted my computer and restarted Apache the problem went away.

Gary -- If no subject is specified in a contact enhanced form, the default subject in the emails it produces will include the form page's title. I think you probably got the meta description in your subject due to another extension adding it to your title tags for SEO purposes. I've done that myself.
