Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

In both Acymailing and Contact Enhanced documentation refers to integration between the 2 components.

I cannot find how to do this integration in Contact Enhanced

Dear safeworld,

The integration is done using a Custom Field. Create a new Custom Field and set the Type to AcyMalling.

Which version are you using? I don't see any payment under your account.

According to the change log, AcyMailling integration was added to version 1.5.8.3:

I've updated your account in order so you can download the latest version.

Please keep in mind that there is no need to uninstall the old version and that backup is your best friend! ;-) I've worked a lot to make the update process very easy and safe, but accidents do happen, therefore I always advise to make a backup first;

I upgraded - worked perfectly
Added to our forms - worked perfectly


One question - is it possible to change the order where the custom field is displayed

If you look at the 2 forms we use
Volunteers
Contact Us

When I added the Custom field for Acymailing the Custom field came directly after the Email field in both cases.

(I have removed it for now btw)

I can see in the backend why it does this because it always comes before other Custom fields.

Ideally I would like it to be added where the 'Email a Copy to Your Address' Custom Field site on the form.
IE at the end

Is this possible?

Sure, it is possible! ;-)

You can reorder right from the Custom Field Manager or you can also edit the Custom Field and reorder in the Parameters.

I am still a bit stuck on the ordering of fields.
I am enclosing 3 images so you can see what I am seeing

Because there are 2 forms each with their own custom fields.
Thje only way to add the Acymailing Custom Field is to choose All Categories
What then happens is the the ordering in the backend doesnt allow the fields to be moved outside the 'All Categories' section

I cant see in the parameters anyway to change this

Tried to post a screen shot but too big!
Can send you a file as an image!

As you can see the Acymailing Custom Field (Called Safe World) is No 4

Its order is 7 but this doesn't move it below the other 2 Categories

Dear Andrew,

I believe I understand now what you want to do.

You have to create one Newsletter custom Field in each category, this way you can reorder them separately. See "Order by" column

Hello Douglas

I have still problems with the Acymailing integration (form ce with acymailing integration at the bottom; see picture 1)
Which parameters does it need in ce custom field? (see picture 2)

- Integration with other systems? yes or no

Do you have an example for this integration?

I got this information send by contact enhancement email (see picture 3):

Auto Registration not allowed.
Check Joomla Global Configuration or disable Contact Enhanced Registration in the Contact Menu item Parameters
