Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Im using Joomla 1.6.1 with "pkg_contactenhancedfullpackage_1.6__RC_1_20110426_1454" and seem to have some trouble with the translation.

when editing the language-file in path "root"/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_contactenhanced.ini only some of these translations will work - others will not.

CE_FORM_REQUIRED_SIGN_LABEL= <- this one works fine
But these do not take affect:

COM_CONTACTENHANCED_CONTACT_MESSAGE_SUBJECT="Subject"
COM_CONTACTENHANCED_CONTACT_EMAIL_NAME="Name"

Can someone figure out why?

Dear CasperNH,

I forgot to remove those language strings from the language file.
Custom Field translations are done directly in the Custom Field's Manager, you just have to edit the Custom Field and change it's Name;

Please go to Components -> Contact Enhanced -> Custom Fields, select the Subject custom field to edit and then change it to your language.

If you have a multi-lingual website, you just have to change the Custom Field language right there in the Edit page and create a custom field for each language.

Thank you for your answer. That seem to solve the problem.

Only one issue remains.

Im still unable to translate the text: "Send a copy to your email"

(COM_CONTACTENHANCED_CONTACT_EMAIL_A_COPY)

Dear Casper,

I've changed it and forgot to remove the old string from the form.
You have to find and translate this string:
CE_FORM_EMAIL_A_COPY="Send a copy to your email"

Are you translating the backend as well?
When you finish your translation, can you please send it to me so I can include in the next version?

Hy ,
I have some trouble with my form, perhaps can you help me as well.
I arrived in this page because I searched to translate the Contact Enhanced in French.

I want to translate the captcha also but the problem is that I don't find this file in the location you specified it.
Thats why I see this "ICAPTCHA_VERIFICATION_CODE: " on my front page ?
Also the CheckBox for send a copy to your mail it's not visible and also from the map as well(the 2 CheckBox).

I just uploaded the language file from the rar to the specified location and fixed the "ICAPTCHA_VERIFICATION_CODE: " .Now I have "Validation code: " :)
I will translate and upload also.
Can you help me with the CheckBoxs please ?
