Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Greetings and congratulations for the great work so far!!

If you please can take a look to this website:
www.maxxmotors.gr/web/index.ph...act_enhanced&view=contact&id=1

You will find out, that my Joomla template on browsers like Chrome, Firefox etc show up really nice on the Contact label! But in I.E the background is missing! Is this something had to do with the Contact Enhanced?

Dear Anestis,

I've just accessed your website using IE8 and it does not seem to be related to CE, because the background is not loading in any other page as well.

It might be because it is missing a space between ")" and "repeat-x" in www.maxxmotors.gr/web/templates/MMRest/css/template.css
Find:
body {background: url(http://www.maxxmotors.gr/web/templates/MMRest/images/Background.jpg)repeat-x; background-color:#eeeeee; background-position:top center;}
and replace with:
body {background: url(http://www.maxxmotors.gr/web/templates/MMRest/images/Background.jpg) repeat-x; background-color:#eeeeee; background-position:top center;}

Hi Douglas,

I think I have a similar problem with IE8 on my site, the backgrounds for the text fields do not show up but they are fine in FF4. Is there anything I am missing? I have also tried turning off input styling in gantry. my site is www.helpinchina.net/index.php/contact

Dear Xentec,

The problem reported by Anestis was not related to CE, the background missing was his template background due to a problem in the CSS file.
The problem you reported is a template incompatibility with CE, every now and then I have this problem with RocketTheme templates.

Your template is setting "border: none" therefore it is not appearing in IE. I could not detect exactly which css file is adding that because you have a CSS compressor tool (plugin or built-in your template), which adds all CSS files to a php file.

Did you clear the cache after disabling input styling in Gantry?

Please open:

and add:
.ce-cf-container .inputbox {border: 1px solid #CCC !important;}
In case it does not work, please remove this line:
.inputbox {border: 1px solid #CCC !important;}
