Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

Hello Douglas,

I'm trying to create a new "auto-translated custom field".

When I create one that is (for example) a text field and I named as "Name", in my webpage shows "Nombre".

What I'm trying to do is create a "Subscribe to list" that translate into my language.

I added this into the es-ES.com_contact_enhanced.ini file that goes in the admin/language folder

SUBSCRIBE TO LIST= Suscríbete a la lista

And then I named the field as "Subscribe to list", but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your great support.

Dear Jesus,

If you are trying to translate the front-end, please use the front-end language file:
[Path to Joomla 1.5]/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_contact_enhanced.ini
[Path to Joomla 1.6]/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_contactenhanced.ini

Is this a multi-lingual website? Are you using JoomFish?

Best regards,

Okey, changin in the language path works, thanks, but the "spanish caracters" don't.

Do I need to change something so it can show the UTF-? Characters or something like that?

à, è, í, ó, ú don't work

Regards

Dear Jesus,

I usually use Eclipse to save my files in UTF-8, which is the default file format in Eclipse.
If you don't have Eclipse and use Windows, you can download Notepad++.
I've searched the web for a tutorial for you:

I hope it helps! ;-)
