Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

i have some troubles:

when someone fills out the feedback form, then i dont get an email...

now, i get an other strange issue... ive got an error 500 in the form page...

can i give you access to the hopmepage please?

Dear Chris,

The 500 error is "No valid database connection", which is very odd because Contact Enhanced uses Joomla core database configuration to record the messages in the database, therefore it should not give you any Database Connection problem.

I was searching on Joomla forum and found a few people with the same problem using other extensions. Here is a possible fix:

When using php5 you can use mysqli to increase the speed of your database. This also fixes the no valid database connection problem.
You can set it in the global configuration under the server tab!

iam not sure what to do....

do you mean, i simply ad an "i" at the end of the database type?
eg: from mysql to mysqli?
do i have everything else to do?
