Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Name & Email Fields Auto-Populating

Joomla version: Joomla 1.6.3
PHP version: 5.x
Contact Enhanced Version: 1.6.0

For some reason, instead of my CE Feedback form coming up with blank fields for a visitor to enter their data, my form's name and email fields are being automatically populated with the administrator's name and email address. I can't seem to figure out why this is happening. Any thoughts?

Dear Arthur,

That's because you are logged in. It will always display the email and Name of the logged in user. This is to improve usability and to prevent a user from typing a wrong email address.

Thanks for your quick response. That makes sense to me. As I develop the website, I'm logged in on another computer to see the effects of changes I make because I have the site offline. Thanks, I'll make sure to put that in my notes.
