Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Contact form cant work with sh404sef

Hi,

Just bought contact enchanced. My site cant load the contact form when sh404sef is ON. it goes to a page which show

Index of /test
Parent Directory
cgi-bin/
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at asianconnect88.com Port 80

When i turn off search engine friendly URLs to "NO" in global configuration, the contact form work perfect.

How can i have the contact form work with search friendly URLs?

Dear Asianconnect,

I've created a plugin for SH404SEF.
Unzip and upoad the attached file to [Joomla]/components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext/ and it should work correctly.

If you have any other question, do not hesitate to ask.

It could be your browser's cache! :)

Your template css file is setting border:0;
You can add this line bellow to Contact Enhanced's css file [Joomla]/components/com_contact_enhanced/assets/css/validate.css

.ce-cf-container{
border:1px solid #DDDDDD;
padding:2px;}

Did the change as you specified. But it is still not very nice.

Pls look at it and let me know what changes i need.

By the way, this is the 2nd extensions i bought from you. The first one is Moofaq and i also have problem with its look and feel. What is the real issue? Is it because of my template which is from rockettheme?

I'm sorry I made a mistake. It should be:

.ce-cf-container inputbox{
border:1px solid #DDDDDD;
padding:2px;}

I personally do not like the way the Rockettheme developers work, because it creates a few script incompatibility (CSS and Javascript). The CSS is usually easy to work around.

You can write another thread for the MooFAQ issue and I'll help you to fix it.
