Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Last year, this form was working. Now I am getting "There are some invalid fields..." even though all required fields are filled in with valid information, and nothing in the form has changed.

What should I be checking for?

Dear Blue_shift,

That's odd. It should not stop working without any change.
Are you using the latest CE and Joomla versions?

Can you please try to disable one field at the time and test the form? It might be a problem with a specific custom field OR with the iCaptcha plugin;

the villain was the icaptcha plugin. but republishing the custom fields broke the stylesheets.

Dear Blue_shift,

The fields look just the same for me. No Styling error.
The text boxes for "Join the parish email list" were already overlapping the CE form fields, if that's what you are referring to;

Please try the iCaptcha without the Ajax check;

Are you using the latest CE version?

probably not the latest, as this is still a 1.5 site. we will probably upgrade soon though, we are staging a 2.5 dev site.

update: I don't see an ajax toggle anywhere....wait. (facepalm.) in the captcha plugin.

Have you tried another captcha library?

If you cannot make it work, please install the latest CE version for Joomla 1.5.
