Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Show captcha on popup for module

Hi, im a website and i added the form with the Contact Enhanced Module at the bottom of most pages.

But the captcha on a module wouldnt sometimes look good.

Would you consider this option?




It would be like opening it in a lightbox. So the capcha doesnt fuck up the website design, but it stands there to avoid robots to spam all of us :D !

Dear Pacnho,

According to Human Interface Guidlines (HIG) the less clicks the better and this would increase one click to submit the form.

This would also add more javascript and I try to avoid javascript where possible in order make the webpage render faster.

You can change captcha's styling (background, font and line colors) in order to match your design;

Just adding this posibilitie if it doesnt mess up with the actual one would be a nice "second option".

Remember that im proposing this as a way in wich the captcha doesnt ruin the design.

It isnt a MUST HAVE ofcourse, but a nice option indeed...


any suggestion to make this work for a special case?
