Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

change Captcha so it's not case sensitive

12 years 8 months ago - 12 years 8 months ago #7996 by allan
I think it's more customer friendly to have captcha that is either all lower case, or not case sensitive.

As one example, Google maps with emailing directions uses all lower case captcha.

If you do not make this change, I suggest an option to have a note appear on the page that the captcha is case sensitive.

Thanks and God bless!

Dear Allan,

The Captcha plugin is NOT case sensitive, it has never been.

Best regards,

The Captcha fails a high percentage of the time, so I'm trying to figure it out.

I thought I had it narrowed down to the caps.

Thanks!

Dear Allan,

That's odd. You can make it easier to read in the Caotcha plugin parameters or choose reCaptcha if you wish.
