Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Linked User Issue

Hi,

I'm very new to Joomla & CE so apologies if this has already been answered. I did search first.

Just purchased CE and did a minimal setup with a test contact linked to a user. When the contact form is displayed, I'm getting a list of Aritcles authored by the linked user displayed at the bottom of the contact form. The list goes away when I unlink the user and provide the email address in the contact.

Running J1.7.

Dear Todd,

This is the default behavior, but you can disable it in the Options.

Go to Components -> Contact Enhanced -> Options (button in the toolbar) and under the Single Contact set "Show User Articles" to Hide.

Thanks. I am now an official idiot!
In my defence I was blinded by a bug in J1.6 that caused grief when two or more Joomla Contacts linked to the same user.

I have the same problem but I am not seeing the "Options (button in the toolbar)"

I looked in the drop down menu.
I looked at the horizontal menu (screenshot attached)

What am I missing?

Dear Pearcy,

I noticed you are using Joomla 1.5 and there is no such option (Links to user articles) for Joomla 1.5.

I believe you have a different problem.
Can you please elaborate on that?
