Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Not accepting line or paragraph breaks

Hi Guys,

Just installed the update. But it's not adding br or p after the fields.

See here: saltwatercharterswa.webresults...-charters/day-fishing-charters

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Rich

Dear Rich,

It seems to be working correctly. I sent an email and requested a copy and I got all the line breaks...

In the email it does not add br or p, because it is a simple text email, so it adds simple line breaks \n.

I mean in the layout of the form itself on the page...

See what I mean?

Oh, I see!

I use CSS to force line breaks, this way it is more flexible and you should not experience any error.

Which browser are you using?
I just double checked in FF, Epiphany, IE6, IE7,IE8 and Opera 10 and it is working correctly.

Dear Rich,

Did you clean your browser's cache after the Ajax Contact upgrade?

I've just upgraded the Firefox in my Windows machine to 3.5.5 and it is working correctly.

Yes that did the trick...sorry for the false alarm!

That's what happens when I work on a Friday night when I should be relaxing....
