Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

multiple instances

I am trying to use Ajax Contact on multiple pages with different contact forms embedded in different articles. I am using the {loadposition Contact_us_position} in the articles but how do I get it to recognize the different forms. I created "new" versions of the Ajax contact modules but both of the articles pick up the first form.

Dear Elmas,

If you have different forms you have to publish them to different module positions as well and them load them using the same plugin like:
{loadposition contact_us_1}
{loadposition contact_us_2}
{loadposition contact_us_N}

If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards.

Thanks for the reply.

I believe I am having a mental block. I remember creating that position before but can't seem to remember exactly how. How do I create "contact_us2" and get it to show up in the position drop down box?

Dear Elmas,

You can actually type in the dropdown box.

If you don't know how and cannot find out I'll create a screencast for you.

Best regards,

Thanks again Douglas,

I knew it was simple... so simple I could not see it. I am so used to drop downs being static I didn't even think of typing in it. Did that and it works like a charm.
