Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Dear Uds,

There is no option to move the "Fields marked with * are required" below the form because according to HCI guidelines it should be displayed at the top of the form. The user must know what are the required fields before he starts to fill out the form.

If you still want to "move" it, you can add language overrides for the following string:
CE_FORM_REQUIRED_SIGN_LABEL="Fields marked with %s are required"
and you are going to add a blank space for language constant, so it will look like this:
CE_FORM_REQUIRED_SIGN_LABEL=" "

If you are not sure how to add language overrides, please read this tutorial:
www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/languge-manager/

Then create a new FreeText Custom Field type, add the Required field message and chnage the order of this field so it loads at the end of the form. It will be displayed only before the Submit and Reset buttons;

All the best,
