Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

I am trying to import using a CSV file but can only import one line at the time. Any idea what is going wrong?

Dear Rudy,

I'm not sure what is wrong. Which Joomla and Contact Enhanced Version are you using?

Make sure your contacts have different Name OR a different Alias.

Dear Rudy,

You are using a very old Contact Enhanced and an outdated Joomla version as well.

Can you please upgrade both and then let me know if the problem continues?

If you have a valid CE license you can download the latest version from the My Account -> My Downloads page, otherwise please renew from that same page in order to get the latest version.

Also, please do not forget to create a full backup before you perform any upgrade.

I have updated Joomla to the latest 2.5.11 version.
Can not update to 3 yet.
I will renew to the latest CE version.
Is it OK to install over the existing version?

Dear Rudy,

If you do not have any code customization, please just install over the old installation, this will upgrade the component (files and database tables (if necessary)).

No code customization, so will install over the old version.
One more question though.
I see in your documentation: With this new module we can display the contents of a category in a list layout. We can also display multiple categories.
When downloading the full package and extracting it I did not see any module with this name.

All modules and plugin are inside the pkg_contactenhanced...zip file and are automatically installed with the package.

If you purchased the FULL version you will get all these modules:
mod_ce_birthday
mod_ce_category
mod_ce_contactslider
mod_ce_form
mod_ce_latest
mod_ce_search
