Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

XML file in Ideal Store Locator

I'm using the XML file example in Ideal Store Locator and just altering the coordinates and location info. All of my locations are in the USA. The USA locations are not showing up. The unchanged UK locations are showing up. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ed

Your lat and lng are mixed. Just change and it will work properly! ;-)

Awesome that was it. Now I have one more problem. The "Find My Location" has me at the wrong location. It has me about 11 miles NE of my location. Any thoughts?

Dear bshea,

The plugin uses Google Maps API and the browser to define the current location, it is usually very accurate, however sometimes the Google API shows my location a few miles away from the actual location.

I have no control over that. It depends heavily on the browser. Please read the FAQ from FireFox page :

Accuracy varies greatly from location to location. In some places, our service providers may be able to provide a location to within a few meters. However, in other areas it might be much more than that. All locations returned by our service providers are estimates only and we do not guarantee the accuracy of the locations provided.

For most locations it will get a more accurate location.
