Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Frequently Asked Questions using Joomla content articles. iFAQ (former MooFAQ) is a FAQ Component for Joomla!™ which uses jQuery and Bootstrap to load Joomla Articles in Accordion format.

Specifying Module To Open FAQ list in

14 years 7 months ago #1161 by leapingsalmon
I have the FAQ title on my home page. When the user clicks it opens in a new page. e.g. mydomain.com/faqs Is it possible to configure MooFAQ to open on the same page (in this case the home page). I want people see the summary accordian list on the home page but then be able to open up each question without navigating off the home page.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Gavin,

Do you mean when the user clicks on the "Read more" link? If so, all you have to do remove the "read more" in the article manager.

I don't think this is about the read more link. I want the FAQ accordian list at www.quadris-it-support.co.uk/general-quadris-faqs to appear on the home page i.e. www.quadris-it-support.co.uk
Not sure how I do this

Dear Gavin,

I'm sorry I didn't understand at first.

All you have to do is set as default in the main menu.
- Select Menus → Main Menu from the drop-down menu on the back-end of your Joomla! installation.
- Select a Menu Item which you want to be the homepage of your site, and the default button in the toolbar (a yellow star).
- Done! :)
