Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Custom Slider not working after update...

11 years 3 months ago #13548 by cppl
Hi Douglas,
some time over the last week the Custom slider has stopped working on one of our sites. You can see the effect on this page . Unfortunately there are no Javascript errors in any of the browsers consoles so I'm stumped.

For the moment we set the rest of the FAQ's to use the Joomla Core slider, e.g. this page set to the core slider works .

As Chrome/Safari/Firefox don't show any errors in the JS so I'm I looked at what had changed on the website.

Talking to the guys it appears that we've had several updates but I think the key one that may be causing a problem are those from RocketTheme. In particular the template was updated to the latest version to get around some problems.

Some RocketTheme extensions were updated but they're not used on the FAQ pages, although that doesn't rule them out.

Do you have any suggestions?

Dear Cppl,

That's because your template is setting height:0 in this CSS rule:
.component-content .collapse
seepeoplesoftware.com/templates/rt_voxel/css/joomla-core.css

In order to fix this, please open your MooFAQ CSS template file, in this case:
seepeoplesoftware.com/componen.../templates/basic/css/panel.css

Then add this CSS rule:
.moofaq .pane-slider.content.collapse {
  height: auto !important;
}

Best regards,
