Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Frequently Asked Questions using Joomla content articles. iFAQ (former MooFAQ) is a FAQ Component for Joomla!™ which uses jQuery and Bootstrap to load Joomla Articles in Accordion format.

10 years 8 months ago #14963 by GammX2
Just purchased your MoFAQ component and trying to match my dark template teh, I need to make the question text background black, the question text white and the answer background black...
Could you please, guide me about which css file(s) I'll need to customize to set those changes?
Thanks in advance for quick answer,

Dear GammX2,

Can you please provide a direct link to where MooFAQ is enabled? This way I can provide you an accurate CSS rule.

Hi again,
Please, login first at: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with:
Username: XXXXX
Pass: XXXXX
>> Go to: www.XXXXXXX.XXX/moofaq.html
Note what I need is the whole MooFAQ template to be dark (#222222) and the text will be shown as the rest of my content (white based)
Thanks in advance for your help,

Dear GammX2,

An image does not help much. ;-(
I don't know which template you are using, if you are using the basic template, you can try to add the CSS rules below to the CSS file:
/components/com_moofaq/templates/basic/css/panel.css
.moofaq-tpl-basic .panel h3 {
    background-color:#000 !important;
}
.moofaq-tpl-basic .panel h3 a {
  color: #FFF !important;
}
.moofaq-tpl-basic .pane-slider {
  background-color: #000 !important;
  background-image:none !important
}

This should work! ;-)

Have a good night,

I have the same issue with a dark grey site template. I tried your css edit suggestion below, but this did not solve the problem. Would you please give me some advice? :blink:

Dear drs2biz,

Go to Extensions -> Extension Manager :: Manage tab;
Search for MooFAQ and you will see the installed version number.
Then you need to compare with the version here:
