Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Frequently Asked Questions using Joomla content articles. iFAQ (former MooFAQ) is a FAQ Component for Joomla!™ which uses jQuery and Bootstrap to load Joomla Articles in Accordion format.

Hyperlinks not displaying properly

7 months 5 days ago #27051 by silversands
When I add hyperlinks (url or mailto:) to an iFAQ article, they display as regular text so it's not clear that they are actually links.
I've looked through the configuration options but can't find anything that addresses this issue.

Greetings,

That's odd. IFaq doesn't strip links or remove any text formatting. Don't you have any plugin installed that might be doing that?

Best regards

Not that I'm aware of of. How would I be able to check that?
Hyperlinks display properly in non-iFAQ articles.

That's odd. Can you please provide a direct link to your iFAQ page, so I can take a look?

Also, there's no subscription linked to your username. Please use the account you used when you subscribed to iFAQ.

This is the only account I have. I work with a programmer who might have downloaded the component but I don't know why I would have an account if I didn't download it. I'll check with him.

Ok, I have discovered the problem....a CSS issue at our end.
It's all working properly now.

Thanks
