Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Read More - hides rest of content.

MooFAQ - working fine on my site. HOWEVER, If I put a "Read More" link in the article (so I can display the article on the homepage) then the content after the "Read More" is not displayed when the article is viewed in the sliders.

If the "Read More" button is clicked, then the article is displayed as expected and as a normal article - fine.

If you view the FAQ's section, the article title is displayed, click the title for the sliders to slide etc, and all content UPTO the "Read More" link is displayed, but after is hidden from view.

Any thoughts?

I'm running 1.5.3.1 on Joomla 1.5.15

Dear Pete,

First of all I suggest you to update MooFAQ to the latest available version, 1.5.3.1 was released back in October and a lot has changed since then;

In the component parameters there is an option called "Read more...link" set it to Show, which is the default;

If you have any other question, please do not hesitate to ask;

Kind regards,

I've now upgraded.

I see the option for the Read More link, but it isn't quite what I was after.

I want the read more to be visible on the front page and if clicked the article is displayed as a normal article - fine.

What I also want though is for the WHOLE article (without read more button) to be displayed if being viewed via the MooFAQs slider system.

Dear Pete,

I've just added this option to the current developing version, which is in testing stage and I plan to release it next week. Can you wait until then? If not, I can send the current testing version to you;

Kind regards,
