Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

[SOLVED] CSS changes not being applied

13 years 11 months ago - 13 years 11 months ago #2833 by Hofmann
Hi,

I'm an amateur at this and I thought maybe you could help me out.

I'm running a Rockettheme template (Crystalline) that I think might be interfering with my changes to the MooFaq CSS. I'm just trying to change the MooFAQ heading from the default h3 to h4 to make it the font smaller, but when I make the changes and upload the panel.css it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any insights?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Hofmann,

You cannot change to h4, however you can change the font-size of the heading.
Please read this file:
ideal.fok.com.br/component/opt...,5/catid,9/id,15/view,article/

I would just add something like this:
.pane-sliders .panel h3 span{font-size:90%}

Best regards,

Thanks Douglas, worked like a charm.

One last question, is there a way to do the same for the category title (i.e. the FAQ Category)?

Dear Hofmann,

MooFAQ tries to inherit most of your template's styling, so if you change h1.componentheading in your template's CSS file it will change all h1.componentheading headings in your site. Unless, of course, you add a new h1.componentheading to the MooFAQ css file instead of editing your template's CSS.

I would add something like:
h1.componentheading{font-size:90% !important}

I've already changed the new version which I should release in a couple days. In teh new version you will be able to just add the .moofaq-category-title rule to the CSS file;

Best regards,
