Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Nothing working after installing your J4 extension

10 months 1 week ago #26960 by coughlin
Your extension was working perfectly on our J3 site. Now after upgrading to J4 and installing your J4 plugin, nothing is showing up (screen shot attached). We are pointing to and using the same .csv file as before. What or where have we gone wrong? This J3 to J4 upgrade process is being done on our local PC so I can't provide you with a link. Lastly, were do we find the J3 to J4 upgrade/migration instructions? Without documentations, maybe we did something wrong! Looking forward to your assistance so we can get this site working and moved over to a production server. Thank you!

Dear coughlin,

There are no special upgrade instructions for iStoreLocator plugin. iStoreLocator upgrade to Joomla 4 should be as easy as updating it.

It's really hard to debug without access to the site, but it seems there might be a javascript error causing this issue. Can you please open the Browser's Developer Tools > Console and let me know which Javascript errors you see?

PS: Have you heard of services like ngrok.com that allow you to serve your web app with one command? This way I'll be able to access your site, even if it is on your local server.

Best regards,

Thanks for pointing us in the JS error direction. The fix happened when we instructed our YOOtheme Page Builder to load the jQuery Library. Thank you for your assistance!
